The Porto Canale (Canal Harbour), designed by Leonardo Da Vinci himself in 1314, is just a short walk or bike ride away from the hotel. It is a work of art, of undeniable beauty, that leads inland towards the Centro Storico (Old Town). Here you will find many small boutiques, cafe bars and restaurants.
Along the cobbled streets the small, colourful houses lead to hidden-away little courtyards with more secrets of the town to discover.
A must-see is the view of the harboured fishing boats at the Porto Canale end, a representation of the town’s historical roots and modern ties to the sea. It’s our very own floating maritime museum.
